Bithy Chowdhury’s musical voyage is not just a career; it is the fulfillment of a prophecy whispered by her mother. The journey began in 2014, ignited by a family deeply rooted in culture and a mother whose lifelong wish was to see her daughter rise as a true artist.
What started as a family dream soon transformed into a personal obsession. From the tea gardens of Sylhet to international stages, Bithy has carved a niche where melody meets performance. She doesn’t just sing songs; she narrates emotions. For her, music is a bridge between the mortal and the divine—a craft honed over years to ensure that when she sings, the world doesn’t just hear, but feels.
Talent is a spark, but training is the fire that keeps it burning. Bithy believes that true artistry is born from the rigor of discipline. Her voice has been sculpted by some of the finest mentors:
The Foundation: Her initial steps into the world of notes were guided by Mir Muhammad Ranu Sorkar.
The Grammar of Music: The intricate technicalities, Sargam, and musical grammar were mastered under Shorobindu Bhotacharjo.
The Classical Soul: To understand the depth of Ragas and the purity of sound, she trained intensively with Bishojit Dey Anu.
The Art of Diction: Believing that lyrics are the soul of a song, she perfected her pronunciation and delivery under Bimol Kor.
This blend of strict classical training and modern performance techniques makes her a versatile powerhouse on stage.

Bithy Chowdhury is not just a performer; she is a scholar of stories. Her academic background in English Literature has profoundly influenced how she interprets lyrics and connects with audiences.
Master’s Degree: Completed from Bangor University (UK).
Honours: B.A. in English from Metropolitan University.
Early Education: A proud alumna of Blue Bird School and College (HSC) and Sylhet Homes School and College (SSC).
Her deep understanding of literature allows her to treat every song as a piece of poetry, adding layers of meaning that go beyond simple entertainment.
